Alonzo Coates, the CEO and Owner of The Capital II Group, Inc. d/b/a Kitchen Korners is committed to helping young entrepreneurs build and grow profitable businesses. Kitchen Korners is a shared-kitchen/commissary start-up business with the sole mission of assisting and educating young people in the areas of entrepreneurship and the fine tuning of their culinary skills in a properly licensed, modern and professional kitchen.

Alonzo was raised in a single family household. The virtues of a good education and hard work were taught at an early age. Inspired by his mother, Mr. Coates and his two siblings were educated in the Philadelphia public school system. In addition, all pursued higher education, graduated and are now established in their chosen careers.

With an economics degree from Penn State University, Mr. Coates prepared himself for a career in financial planning and forecasting. With the goal of entrepreneurship, Alonzo gained experience in managing and operating a business while working in various management training programs including Kinney Shoe Corporation and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Mr. Coates left retail sales in 1997 to further his career in mortgage financing. As a senior loan officer at Cendant Mortgage Company, Mr. Coates assisted homebuyers in achieving the American dream. Prior to the housing boom in 1998, Mr. Coates founded Sharque Entities Incorporated, which is a property management company. Alonzo took advantage of the housing market by purchasing, rehabbing and successfully leasing five properties in a five-year time frame. In 2002, the revenues earned from Sharque Entities afforded Mr. Coates the financial freedom to leave a conventional job. In 2006, Mr. Coates invested in a Jani-King commercial cleaning franchise. Since 2009, Mr. Coates has been contracted to provide medical cleaning and dietary services for a fifteen-bed in-patient hospice unit and a thirty-bed respiratory special care unit.

A common theme that has tied Mr. Coates with his work experience is an emphasis on maintaining great customer service, understanding the needs and wants of the customer as well as motivating others to do their best.
